Xbox 360 system update adds 2GB of cloud storage

4.6
The Xbox 360 received a system update today, and it contains features which have been in Preview such as 2GB Cloud Storage.

This is great news for those with an Xbox One who wish to play backwards compatible games on their system in November. It will be much easier to access game saves and acquired DLC.

Along with 2GB of Cloud Storage being made available, users can now redeem Xbox Live Marketplace codes from messages, and user’s Microsoft account balance will be shown when looking at game details or browsing the marketplace.

Accept Terms of Use has also been added, which means Xbox 360 users can log their console into a network requiring Terms of Use acceptance. So, if for example you have checked into a hotel, or in the hospital for reason, you can log into the the area network. Users will need to have latest update of Internet Explorer installed first.

An activity feed is now available along with the ability to see what friends are playing on Windows 10 or Xbox One.

Movie and TV collections from Microsoft Movies & TV and music in Groove Music can now be accessed.

Never really used the Cloud. I could see how it could be useful though. Do you still need gold to be able to upload files?

Not really going to get much use out of this tbh.

I'm still a little confused on how this backwards compatibility will work with DLC, so we have to put the DLC in our cloud storage to use it, because 2GB is defiantly not enough for that. I haven't used cloud storage yet, the only reason I will ever use it is the backwards compatibility with game saves.

Well I will always take some more space.

It's a shame that the 360 is a dying platform.
