Xbox One Gets Upgraded 12-Person Party Chat Today

Xbox One is getting larger Party Chat rooms, and according to Microsoft’s Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb, the long-demanded feature is going out today.

12-person Party Chat isn’t something most casual Xbox One or Windows 10 users will ever really use to its full potential but the very active hardcore gamers have been asking for this capability for a while now and likely use it during competitive gaming sessions involving online multiplayer modes.

I always found it annoying for there to be a 8-person limit for party chat on the Xbox 360 and that would suck when we would have to kick somebody out since there was not enough room. This is such a simple yet great addition.

The whole party feature was a big let down for me on the Xbox One. It was a lot better for me on the 360. It was easier to connect and had no problems once I was in a party, even after all the patches, sometimes I can't hear certain people and then other days I hear them just fine. It's really not that easy to use in that little snap window.
