Need for Speed Closed Beta Invites Are Being Sent Out

Need for Speed closed beta sign-ups closed on September 25, and now invites are being sent out.

However, there is one problem, some people were unfortunate enough to receive a different platform code than the one they originally signed up for, like an Xbox One code instead of PS4 and vice versa. EA, the game’s publisher, is aware of the problem and is fixing it in the next batch of invites. Since this is a closed beta, you can’t share any captured footage.

Considering the small duration of the closed beta, this problem should be solved as quickly as possible. Need for Speed launches on November 3 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.

It's a BETA.... The whole point of betas are for the company's to find these bugs in the game. Not for you to be complaining that you can't play it. You didn't even pay for it so why are you complaining?



First of all how do you know i didnt Pre order it? You cant just say i didnt? I cancelled my pre order because at least i expect the game to be Playable to then be able to find out the issues with it. If the issue is the game is UNPLAYABLE then whats the point of the beta? By unplayable i mean it wont run anymore i get to the same spot and crash same with about 10 other friends of mine.

Firstly, whilst you say "i expect the game to be Playable" did you miss the screen that says this is a BETA version of the game and doesent represent the final finished version of the game and that graphics and gameplay may vary between this release and the final build.

Secondly. I dont think you understand the use of beta tests. BETA tests are used as a method to find bugs that exist within the game, The issue you are experiencing could be 1 of many bugs, i for one have had no such issue, the odd graphic glitch or invisible barrier glitch sure. But thats what its for, find a bug report it, it gets fixed then when release day hits, theres a lot less bugs.

I do really think that you should think before you post, as when you post idiotic things like that it just really shows how infantile you are. If you cancel a pre order because you cant play the beta well then that really says alot about you. Now if you played the BETA thoroughly and then came to the conclusion you arent much for it and THEN cancelled then i could understand that.

its beta theres a reason why you cant play BETA means helping devs find these so if you canceled your pre order that means you didnt buy it


This is feedback of a beta. Isn't that what we're suppose to be giving?
