The Xbox Accessories App is where where you’ll to customize the button-mapping to your liking and even set them specially for different games. It seems robust enough for hardcore XB1 users who want total control over their um, controllers.

The Xbox Elite Controller hits store shelves on October 27 and comes with a carrying case, a set of 4 paddles, a set of 6 thumbsticks, a set of 2 D-pads: faceted and standard, a USB cable, and a pair of AA batteries.

Well Microsoft is now planning to make the regular controllers have button mapping as well.

Exactly what I was thinking. I think they want to make up on the missing sales that they've lose. They've taken it to that step further to make it even easier in a way that Scuf can't. Good idea, I hope to see this on the PS4 someday, it'll probably be a standard thing come the next console line.
