The Xbox Accessories App is where where you’ll to customize the button-mapping to your liking and even set them specially for different games. It seems robust enough for hardcore XB1 users who want total control over their um, controllers.

The Xbox Elite Controller hits store shelves on October 27 and comes with a carrying case, a set of 4 paddles, a set of 6 thumbsticks, a set of 2 D-pads: faceted and standard, a USB cable, and a pair of AA batteries.

Whom This is my favourite controller on any console, I have always liked this.

I agree its even better than the xbox 360 controller, and we all know that was one of the best controllers to hold.

Pretty cool to see this kind of customisation built in to the controller.

Most games don't offer the ability to rebind controller buttons compared to something like a mouse and keyboard which, usually, allows full customisation.

This is a good step forward for the Xbox controller.

This is pretty neat, it will be nice for things like FPS where different games have different buttons layouts, and when you switch between them typically you had to like relearn the controls but with this you can have the same style for every game, which would be real nice and take out the learning curve to every game.
