Players have been unable to log onto the PSN after an unscheduled outage and according to a technical prompt at the top of its home page, they may have to wait for another 3 days until having access to online gaming.
This will naturally affect the first few days of the Call of Duty World League, scheduled to begin tomorrow on the 5th.
Update (19:00PM GMT): Sony's said that it's aware of the PSN issues and has dispatched engineers to try and resolve them.
Update (00:00AM GMT): Don't be alarmed, but some PlayStation.com pages are claiming that PSN won't be back until 7th January.
Twitter users also spotted and message and the reaction has been less than impressed.
If PSN is down until the 7th, im going to be sad.

Apparently the PSN outage is supposed to last until January 7th. Unless if they are restructuring the network, this is a problem
