PS4 firmware update 3.15 available now

PlayStation 4 is due for another firmware update later today.

Update: The update is now available, and the only patch note we have is “improved the quality of the system performance.” It’s the usual ~260mb in size.

Original story: Sony has announced that a new system update will be available later today for PlayStation 4. The new firmware, version 3.15, doesn’t bring any new features, sadly.

Sony said it’ll only be a minor update, so expect the usual stability improvements.

agreed with @Robbed i feel like they should just wait and do one huge update instead of all these minor ones.

I think that instead of doing 1 update with a minor fix, they should do a bigger update with a lot of minor fixes, because you'll be waiting for something that you'll probably not even notice or feel any impact upon.

People that complain about a console because it has "too many updates" is ridiculous. You either must have nothing better to do, or you need better internet. They update the system to make it a better one, would you rather it have no updates and still be the buggy & broken system it was when it first came out?

Another update there are far too many, its good they are keeping it updated but they shouldn't have to do this many imo.
