Double XP Weekend for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 players

A Double XP Weekend kicked off earlier this afternoon for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 players.

Earlier this week, the Awakening DLC for the shooter released on PlayStation 4. It came with four new multiplayer maps: Gauntlet, Splash, Skyjacked and Rise along with the new Der Eisendrache Zombie experience.

Along with the new DLC pack, a patch for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 was released containing many fixes, and other improvements.

PC and Xbox One versions of the Awakening DLC will arrive sometime in March once the PS4 exclusivity period is up.

I just went on to check it out and it's just double weapon XP. Anyway it will still help me out because having max level weapons will make it easier to go for dark matter camo. All I have left are SMGs and ARs.
