Xbox One: Scalebound and Forza Horizon 3 could be headed to PC

Microsoft and the Xbox One have been in the news a lot these recent weeks after the company’s future intentions for the Xbox brand seem to be making their way to the public. It’s not a secret that the Xbox One is losing exclusives to PC and even the PS4 release on release. Rumor is that Microsoft is converting the Xbox into a gaming service like Steam and will release games on a Xbox home console and PC simultaneously. In a leak today posted on Reddit of Gear of War: Ultimate Edition, a Xbox One exclusive that was recently released on PC, a list of Windows 10 game IDs was revealed which contains the IDs of some very high profile upcoming Xbox One exclusives. The next game in the Forza series will be revealed for the Xbox One at this year’s E3 according to a press release yesterday, the list suggests that the game will be Forza Horizon 3 and will also be released on PC. The second notable game on the list is Platinum Studio’s Scalebound which is Hideki Kamiya’s latest project after he wrapped up work on Bayonetta 2.

If Xbox and PC were to say, 'merge' or something of the sort then PS4 would definitely run into some problems.

I have to agree with @Meadow I can't really imagine playing Forza on a PC. Although I will give it a go and it may change my opinion.

I don't see why not? The PC is best for games like this, I feel. If you have the RIG to run it, at least. But Forza isn' exactly that hard, in a sense that it doesn't really push an Xbox very much and you can build a budgeted PC that out-runs an Xbox in most cases.

I for one am very excited. Forza on the PC would be great! I've been waiting to play Horizons again since #1 came out, but I sold my 360 a long time ago. And I wasn't about to buy a whole new console just for one game, haha.

franku Forza Horizon 3 would be a sweet addition to the racing sims currently on the PC gaming market. They need to add the games to Steam as well so they can attract a bigger audience.


yea problem is its unlikely to happen. Windows store at the moment is terrible. They need to make a seperate store dedicated to proper games and not mobile crap. If they add the games to steam it will be like ubisoft games and have to go through their market place anyway.
