At the final fairness hearing held on May 4, 2015, the district court granted final approval of the settlement. The district court’s Judgement was entered on May 6, 2015. Sony will be glad to put this class action lawsuit behind them, and hopefully are now, well-prepared for cyber attacks that affect their customers.

Um why is this an article? The breach happened like 5 years ago and Sony ALREADY did this after PSN came back on.

Good to see a company actually repaying customers with something due to a data breach, wouldn't see other companies doing that.

Pint Companies should be doing a little more to prevent these attacks

Well Sony isn't that good when it comes to security so there's not a lot else they can offer. Free games are nice but majority of these I've never heard of. I also wonder how many people actually filled out a claim form.

very difficult to fill out a claim form when you are kicked out of the psn by a hacker who has stolen your online password and id , so how do you get in contact with a company that is only interested in your money ????????????
