New details on Modern Warfare Remastered: No stat transfer and more

The official Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered FAQ has gone live on Activision Support’s side and has confirmed that your original stats from Call of Duty 4 will not transfer to the Remastered.

Q: Will my stats from the original Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare carry over to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered?

A: No, your stats from the original Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare will not carry over to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered.

In addition, the support article states that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered will be available only if you get Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare’s Legacy, Digital Legacy, Digital Deluxe, or Legacy Pro.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered will also allow full multiplayer progression, including ability to reach Master Prestige, unlock weapon, attachments, and more.

The movement system in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered will stay true to the original game. The FAQ also states that the title will have dedicated servers.

Leveling all the way to 10th prestige again would be great fun in my book, Im looking forward to doing that grind again

This is good becuase all I see is that people just have modded maxed out stats accounts which includes Unlock All.

I'm kind of happy that our stats will not be transferring over to the remastered version. I'm looking forward to playing MWR and getting to level up again.

All I want is for them to keep the game exactly the same. Same skins, same movement and level progression. Have old school and that good stuff. Ill be fine if they just copy and paste but update the graphics.

Once everyone beats the newest COD, I assume that everyone will just head over to COD 4. Maybe we see a remaster WaW or WaW 2 next year?

Well that is good no stats, Starting again will be cool.
Im just glad nobody can mod and just use mod menus to kill you from sky barriers with unlimited grenade launchers.
