Infinite Warfare trailer on track for 3rd most disliked YouTube video

Call of Duty fans nothing if not passionate, and they’re determined to make Infinite Warfare’s debut trailer break all the wrong records.

The reveal trailer for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare has not been well received by series fans since its release over a week ago.

The trailer was in sort of a internet competition with Battlefield 1’s first trailer, and it’s so far lost in every category. Earlier this week, Infinite Warfare’s trailer achieved the status of becoming the most disliked trailer in YouTube history.

Looking at the YouTube’s most disliked videos playlist, you can see it rose up even more, and it’s clear the trailer is getting closer and closer to being in the top three most disliked videos ever.

Call of Duty players left and right have been voicing their disinterest in the game’s futuristic setting. Even though the trailer included a teaser for the often-requested Modern Warfare remaster, Activision’s decision to only bundle it with the Legacy Edition frustrated many.

The sad part is that it's still going to sell well because of the fanboys that will buy any piece of rubbish with the call of duty label on it.

Swift This is just great, people think they are helping the cause of "taking the game back in time" but no. Activision sees all this as free publicity for the game. In 1 week the trailer has almost 20 million views. The BO3 trailer has been viewed 22 million times in a year. People keep saying RIPCOD. But I'll wager 100 dollars that it sells more than 1 billion dollars worth of games. Which is all Activision cares about.

Which will be more than Battlefield One makes.


There will be only one reason CoD will sell so great this year, and you're not factoring it in so it'll make you look like some kind of bad-a** for 'being right'

MW Remastered is what is brought this game to such light in the field of 'Hype.' Without the pre-order bonus of that game being at $80, they wouldn't sell as much as they will.

As for Battlefield..I think it'll sell more, as a lot of people 1) Like their games more and 2) They went to WWI and it is receiving a lot of good attention.

**** bandwagons. People always like to judge on the 30 seconds of trailer that they see. No one thought cod games would be good after ghosts. But in a lot of people really liked BO3. I'm not a fan of flying in cod, but bo3 blew me away. Since I haven't seen actual gameplay of the game that isn't released yet, I'll like to keep my like/dislike to myself. People just love to talk shy about stuff

What's **** up is that we haven't even seen real gameplay and everyone wants to call it shit like you have already played it. What you saw was campaign.. Maybe with the dislikes and complaints they will change the mechanics a little bit for multiplayer for all the people who are bitching, but probably not. And the sad part is that everyone who is bitching and complaining will still buy the game, even if it's just for COD4, it's call of duty.. You WILL buy it. We always do. I don't see why though because it's just the same shit every year with a twist that will ruin the game. Rant over :)

The reason people say "you WILL buy it" is because Black ops 2 and 3 have both had record breaking numbers in terms of sales. CoD hasn't been slowing down, if anything, it's speeding up. Maybe there is a vocal minority on the internet making it sound like CoD is doomed but looking at past trends, this CoD is on track to easily being the number 1 selling game this year by preorder numbers alone (topping PSN preorder numbers currently as well as Amazons, not sure about XBL)

this is a halo and a battlefield game put together... iw ripped off ideas and stuff. people are only gonna buy it for cod4 imo. i feel like there are dislike bots? who cares, it looks like it is gonna suck.
