Nearly 80,000 people are playing Call of Duty: Black Ops 1.

Treyarch's Five-year-old shooter is enjoying a huge surge in players since being added to Xbox One backwards compatibility (Anyone shocked?)

It's worth noting that Black Ops is currently 75% off with deals with gold so if you don't have it grab it while its cheap!

Xbox's Larry Hryb confirmed that Call of Duty: Black Ops was now available to play via Xbox One Backwards Compatibility earlier today on Twitter.

if you bought Black Ops digitally in the past, or still own the original Xbox 360 disc you should be able to jump into the action right now.

All we can do now is hope that The Modern Warfare Trilogy is added to backwards compatibility soon!

A friend of mine went to some nearby game stores and each of them sold out of BO1. The members of staff said the game shops have been rammed with people trying to buy the same since it became backwards compatible this morning.

Why would you bother using god mode on a 5 year old game online? Just takes the fun out of it.

Howesenberg Could anyone list reasons why they prefer 1 over 3? I feel like 3 is just as fun if not more but I'm really interested to hear people's perspective on this.


Because a lot of people like me prefer the older, more ground based Cod games. The futuristic stuff is just crap, jumping around and running on walls is stupid imo.


I second this mans opinion. the "Boots-on-the-ground" warfare is way better

How do you come to that conclusion? The game is the same game that someone on xbox 360 would be running. Nothing has changed.

It will only be a matter of time before they decide to add in Mw2 which was already spotted not too long ago. Thank god.
