Halo: Reach has just over two weeks until it's aloud out of those big brown boxes and into Xbox 360 consoles across the globe, however according to an anonymous tipster- stores are already selling the game. The tipster, who remains anonymous, has informed JPS that a retailer (no store name was given) is selling the game- breaking the embargo date that Microsoft strictly enforced. As of now, it's anyone's guess as to why the store is handing out copies- maybe a retailer trying to make a few extra bucks, or maybe just a mix up with the dates.
@Buzz_Lightyear, actually if activision finds out what store it is, they might send police squads in to recover all the games, it happend to a few stores with mw2, i think its like a half mil fine also. Like 7 or 8 stores got shut down when they did it with mw2.
As long as the game was purchased from a legitimate source, Microsoft can't do anything!
I don't understand why some people get so cut when someone plays a game earlier than others. I mean, if "he" plays it today and you play it next week, you still experience the same thing.
Customer: (Keeping it on the DL)Hey you got Halo Reach in stock?
Employee: Yeah I do. Why, you want one?
Customer: Hell YEAH!(Screaming Loudly)
Everyone in the store turns to look at him and he feels a little embarassed...
Employee: Ok that was weird!
Customer: I'll say! So anyway... Could I get Reach today? (Pulling out a Benjamin)
Employee: Hell YEAH! (Screaming Loudly)
Customer: Oh you thought I was gonna give you $100???
Employee: Uh of COURSE I DID!
Customer: Well I just needed some change... but I'll give you $40 extra if I can get REACH today.
Employee: DEAL!
And that, my friends, is how the lucky customer (who needed change for his Benjamin) got Halo Reach two weeks before its actual release date.
