The Federal Bureau of Investigations today confirmed to Kotaku that it is looking into the security breach that brought the Playstation Network down and exposed millions of users' personal data to cybercriminals. Sony’s shares have dropped 5 percent following this week’s revelation that personal information and potentially credit card details had been compromised following the hacking of PlayStation Network.Shares fell in the company earlier this morning by 4.8 percent, which is up in a broader market by 1.3 percent. Though it seems minor now compared to the loss of personal data, one unfortunate effect of the PSN outage has been the inability to watch Hulu Plus through the PS3. Even though you can still use the paid service through your computer's browser, the iPhone and other devices, Hulu has chosen to compensate users for the lost PSN time by issuing one-week credits via email.
