Sony is reportedly making the most of the PlayStation Network's hacker-triggered downtime by providing developers with new security tools to integrate into their games. As part of a new Q&A session posted on the official Playstation Blog, Sony has stated that PSN will be up and running by early next week. Although the key word is that they will have 'some' of the services back up and running.

A new video with game play from the new map Call of the Dead has been released. It includes a commentary of the newest map. This map will become available May 3, with the escalation map pack. The map pack includes 5 new maps: Zoo, Hotel, Convoy, Stockpile, and of course Call of the Dead, and it will cost 1200 microsoft points or $15.

An official Machinima trailer has been released for the upcoming zombies map, "Call of the Dead". The map is part of the "Escalation" map pack, due to release on May 3rd for Xbox 360. Sony has revealed the main reason why PSN is down for such a long time. And it all has to do with hackers tearing apart the PSN security. They warn that it is likely hackers have got access to ALL the details on PSN user accounts including BILLING information.
