Earlier reports today indicated that Anonymous were to resume attacks against Sony as soon as PSN went up again. However, new information today suggests otherwise. The latest reports claim that the IRC channel of the group states the following - "[#OpSony is over, if you are here to baww about PSN, it wasn't us.]". So perhaps it really is all over.

Treyarch's to host a Call of Duty: Black Ops double XP weekend kicking off on May 6. Specific platforms weren't announced, but it may be an Xbox 360 only event as the XP weekend's been planned to coincide with the May 3 launch of the Escalation map pack on Microsoft's console. Sources indicate that some accounts beloging to hacktivist group Anonymous have been banned from Youtube. However, Anonymous have hit back by pledging that they will simply host their videos elsewhere and disagree with their attempts to 'silence the media'. It's FPS 101: The frag and clear. Look up, chuck a grenade, then rush towards its destination. Once there, mop up any targets that happened to be standing nearby. Third party unconfirmed reports denote that the PSP Go is finally being killed off by Sony. Apparently, a Sony shop employee was told by his sales manager that the production of the PSP GO is ceasing. Therefore the respective shop will not be getting any more shipments. This report has come all the way from Japan, so things may vary in other regions.
