No co-op for Call of Duty: Black Ops' campaign
Though Call of Duty: Black Ops' Cold War setting is a new feature for the series, one element of the game will stay true to the franchise's norms: the game's campaign will only be a single-player experience. Bungie “hated” Halo’s Combat Evolved subtitle
Bungie was none to keen on what Microsoft ended up calling the first Halo game. “Everyone” at the developer “hated” the Halo: Combat Evolved name even, designer Jaime Grisemer has revealed. Black Ops is its own man, draws nothing from Modern Warfare 2

Black Ops will be big, analyst expects
Sales wise, Call of Duty: Black Ops could come close to Infinity Ward’s 2009 blockbuster. That’s according to Cowen and Company analyst Doug Creutz who reckons Treyarch’s latest could shift as much as 10 million units in year one.
