Pirates are finding it harder to crack new PC games
Pirates at the infamous Chinese hacking forum 3DM are complaining that recent PC games are simply too darn hard to crack, according to Torrent Freak. The problem is apparently Denuvo, a copy protection scheme that prevents tampering of the underlying DRM. Rise of the Tomb Raider release date confirmed for PC
Square Enix has finally confirmed the PC release date for Rise of the Tomb Raider, and has announced a Collector’s Edition as well. The game will be released on both Windows 10 and Steam with 4K resolution support on January 28. Valve permanently bans Counter-Strike players involved in match-fixing
Valve has said it will terminate its relationship with individuals who are found to “demonstrate a willingness” to sully the integrity of the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive eSports scene. According to a post on the official CS:GO blog, Valve stated the it will “take whatever action necessary” to protect the integrity and “entertainment value” of professional matches.

Steam reaches new concurrent user record
Yesterday, Steam averaged a peak of over 12 million concurrent users. At roughly 8pm GMT, on Sunday, January 3, the number of concurrent users on Steam reached 12,332,504 – a new record for the PC’s foremost digital marketplace. Killer Instinct Season 3 PC Confirmed, Windows 10 Exclusive
Killer Instinct Season 3 has been confirmed to release in March 2016 on PC. It will be a Windows 10 exclusive so if you are still running Windows 7 or Windows 8/8.1, you will have to upgrade to Windows 10 to play the game, just like with Gears of War: Ultimate Edition. Rise of the Tomb Raider PC Listed for January 2016 on Steam
More evidence has begun surfacing that Crystal Dynamics’ Rise of the Tomb Raider will be releasing in January 2016.
