Introduction
The tutorial will explain how to install XEXloader and patch the "default.xex" file so you can play originals from the Xbox 360 HDD rather then using a USB Drive. Please note, this can only be played from an exploited XBRebootable 360. This tutorial will work with single Nand setup, you do not need cygnos.
This tutorial also assumes that you have more then enough free HDD space to transfer games. eg. minimum 7.5GB

Software Required

1. Installing the XEXloader package
1.1. Download XEXloader.iso
1.2. Burn XeXLoader.iso to CD/DVD
1.3. Start your Xbox 360, insert CD/DVD, select play game.
1.4. Use the file browser to copy (using the "X" button) the directory
"C0DE9999" to the Retail 360 HDD: Hdd1://Content/0000000000000000/
1.5. Remove CD/DVD, Restart the 360 then go to "Game Library" and
load the game demo listed as "XeXLoader"
2. Running XEXLoader from the Xbox 360 HDD
2.1. Load XEXloader by selecting it from the "Game Library" menu. It will be listed as a DEMO and title "XEXLoader"
2.2. After XEXLoader has successfully loaded, use the built in "CopyDVD" functions to copy your original DVD game from the DVD Rom drive to the Xbox 360 HDD. (The game will create its own folder in root of HDD).
3. Patching Default.xex using XEXtool
Before you can run an original game copied onto the Xbox 360 HDD you must first patch the "default.xex" file from the game you just installed.
3.1 . Insert a "USB Storage device" into the back USB port on your Xbox 360.
3.2. Copy the game "default.xex" from the HDD to your USB Device.
DO NOT copy the "default.xex" file to the root of your USB drive, otherwise when you reboot with the USB Device connected you will get a E71 error. Make a new folder with the game name so you can copy it there!
3.3. Remove the "USB Device" from the Xbox 360 and insert into your PC.
3.4. Copy the "default.xex" file from the USB Storage device to the same directory you have "XEXTool" installed to.
3.5. Open a DOS Prompt and type the following:
xextool -ra -m d default.xex
3.6. Now you just need to copy the patched "default.xex" file back to your Xbox 360 HDD in the correct folder/directory. Delete the original "default.xex" file from the xbox 360 hdd and replace with your newly patched file.
