There really isn't a reason to play on this difficulty as playing on Uber will get you this and the Uber achievement. At any rate I am assembling some useful tips to make this a bit easier.
Some good tips to remember for completing this difficulty are:
Scavenge for ammo whenever a battle is done; you never know what you may find, be it ammo, health, or armor.
DO NOT overcharge your health unless you KNOW that you will not need the health later.
When possible get stealth kills to lessen the number of enemies in firefights.
Use the alt fire modes on your guns such as single shot for the assault rifle. This is great fir headshots, but horrible for fighting Kampfhunds as they don't die fast.

Beat the game on the hardest difficulty or the one before it to unlock. Pretty self-explanatory. :)
