There are number of puzzles that you have to use Melvin to solve and they initially involve having him eat until he blows up and opens new areas for you. In the first valley where Melvin is eating plates of food, lure him into the valley and lower the plate on the left, near the angry pumpkin. As hes eating that one, lower the one on the right. Once hes eaten that one, hell blow up and open a new path for you. In the kitchen area, you need to fill the fourth and final plate with food, so that Melvin will eat it and explode there. Otherwise, he just blows up after the third plate, which does you no good. Get the biggest horde you can and sweep them across the grassy area to move the sheep there into the oven at the far end of the room. You have to do this before Melvin gets to the third plate. Once you have, the final plate lowers, Melvin eats, explodes, and opens a new path.

Once you get to the golf course, you just need to get Melvin to charge you in such a way that hell ricochet off the walls and land in the hole. You can place your minions at the red flags and he'll charge right for them. Sweep them out of the way and he'll end up in the hole (from Scythez0r). There are two of these areas. After that you need to use a food cart to bounce Melvin around a room to break down walls like a game of brick. Use your minions to move the food cart back and forth like the paddle in pong. When Melvin stops moving, hell blow up and walls will reset. Once youve destroyed all four walls, hell blow up again and you can get the spokes for the wheel required for you to leave the area. Finally, youll see Melvin appear to your left as you leave. He'll charge you and go plummeting into a swamp. To retrieve the Abyss Stone, you need to fight through a room of wraiths and then protect the stone from peasants that will try to destroy it. Once youve fought everyone off, take the Abyss Stone to the teleport stone and leave.
