During Episode 3 you will reach an area with Leapers, and the game will notify you that you can shoot them down with a newly acquired Spammer weapon. You can focus during this battle to get most out of the way or spread them out within other episodes. You can shoot the same Leapers off the wall multiple times that add to the total. You cannot, however, die or reload your checkpoint.
