Dual nand with Cygnos REV E Chip Tutorial


Installation on XboX 360 SLIM (1/2)

In order to have a dual nand, we need a Cygnos Rev-E with 16MB Nand on board.
You need also a 2 contacts relay at 3v in order to unactive, in the good way, the x360glitchip when we want to boot on a
origin nand. A relay from Axicom is good for that.
The installation of the Cygnos v2 REV-E on slim is not possible through the quick solder, you have to install it manually.

We advise you to install the Cygnos in this way. (Think to isolate the Cygnos back)

You will notice the point indicated by the red bow. This is this point which will pilot the relay to active or not the chip.

Installation on XboX 360 FAT (1/1)
On FAT, no difficulty. Install the Cygnos Rev-E as usual using the quick solder. (Of course, dont wire the JTAG points)
Please note, that this dual nand technic is not suitable for Jasper 256/512MB (except if you replace the Hynix 16MB chip of the cygnos by a Samsung 512MB one)

You just have to flash your origin nand to the cygnos nand now.
With this installation :
With the Cygnos switch OFF (Light Off) the xbox will boot on the Glitch Hack
With the Cygnos switch ON (Blue light On) the xbox will boot on your original nand
