If you have black spots on your laptop's display screen, we'll show you how to perform laptop LCD screen repair in several easy steps. The first thing that you should do is try to manually remove the black spot by lightly rubbing on it. Then use a software application like Pixel Fixer, Jscreen Fix and Dead Pixel Buddy to help you remove the black spot. The software applications are designed to find and fix broken pixels on a desktop computer monitor or laptop LCD display screen.
Instructions-
Step 1:
To manually perform laptop LCD screen repair, grab a soft lint-free cloth and clean off your laptop's display screen. Then, use a stylus pen with a rounded end on it to remove the black spot. Place a small dry cloth directly over the stuck pixel. Gently rub the pixel with the stylus pen until it disappears. Don't apply too much pressure, because you could puncture the LCD display screen.
Step 2:
Next, go online and download a pixel fixer software application of your choice from the Internet on your laptop computer. After you install the pixel fixer appication, launch it and let the program run. If you prefer to use an online web-based service like "JScreen Fix," go to the website and click the "Launch" button. Then, follow the websites instructions on how to perform laptop LCD screen repair.
Step 3:
Check to make certain that your laptop has the latest version of Java. You can download the latest version from "Java.com." The service will turn all of the pixels on your laptop's display screen on and off. And, then rapidly cycle the color of the display screen approximately 60 times per second.
Step 4:
Click on the "Locate" button after the "JScreen Fix" dialog box appears. The display screen on your laptop computer will turn black. Make certain that you move the window around to find the stuck pixel on the screen.
Step 5:
Click on the "Fix" button and let the web-based service run and perform a diagnostic test. The service will try to find and revive any broken pixels on your laptop LCD display screen.
Step 6.
Run the pixel fixer software again and let it run for several hours. If you're unable to remove the black spot from your laptop LCD display screen, try contacting the manufacturer to get help. They may be able to replace your laptop's LCD display screen, if it is still under warranty and meets the requirements for a replacement.
