Hey there, in this tutorial I will be showing you how to use an old-styled Xbox 360 Hard Drive with the new Slim Xbox's.

Although this tutorial is fairly simple, only very few people actually know it's possible and do it.
The advantage of this is when you need to backup some Data or Mod something, but don't have a USB to do so.

Requirements:
Xbox Slim
Original Hard Drive
Transfer Cable

Firstly, plug your Xbox 360 Transfer cable into any USB Port on your Slim.
Once you've done that, plug your Xbox 360 Hard Drive into the transfer cable.
If done correctly, it should look something like this:

Now, once you've got that done I suggest making an offline profile onto your new Storage Device.
This will then create your 'Content' folders just to make life a whole lot easier for you.

To open the Hard-Drive up and insert files, extract them or basically anything you want, you can use tools such as XPort 360, Horizon or Modio.
