**Ok so today im going to talk talk to you about how to install any forums software. This is my way of doing it and i hope i can get you guys to learn.**



First Step: Making/getting hosting & Domain.

One of the first steps to making a community/well developed forums is to find some sort of forum software. We are going to use the software MyBB in this Tutorial.


Ok first you must have some type of domain like and .com or a test site (Buy Hosting).

As you can see im using a test forum, this will also work for real bought hosting/domain's.

You will then want to go access your cpanle like i will do.

Step #2: Access Ftp detail & info.

You will want to look around to find you ftp detail's because this is the way you are going to upload all your files.

Once you find that you will want to download a file manager. I will be using FileZilla

Once you do that, you will want to download you forum software. Like i said before ill be using MyBB.

When you download your forum software it should look like this.

You will see a Document folder and a upload folder. *There could be more folders in other software's but all you will need is the upload folder. This goes for all!

Now you will extract you upload folder on to you desktop.

Last Steps: Ftp info & Installation !

Ok so now we will open up FileZilla it should look like this !

Now you will want to fill in your ftp info at the top this way you can access all your files.

Once you logged in you will see this.

Ok so once you logged in to you directory you should see 3 or 4 folders. Don't touch any of them in this process!!!

You will now open you upload folder.

Now you will go into you ftp delete the default.php in the Public_Html folder. Now you will drag all the upload files into Public_Html.


After you will type your domain in the url bar at the top then put /install after it. Ex. (yourdomain.com/install)
