This tutorial will show you how to get Xbox Live Gold for only $12 or $24 (it depends on Microsoft and can change randomly) regardless still a great deal.

Requirments
An account with Xbox Live Gold (even if it's a trial)

Steps
1. Let your Xbox Live Gold run out (TURN OFF RENEWAL)
2. On the Dashboard you will see an advertisement saying either "Join Xbox Live Gold for $1 or $2" (This can depend on how long you have been gold for or if you have done this already. From the looks of it, the first time will be $1 then $2 from there on out.
3. Click the advertisement and purchase the 1 month Xbox Live Gold
4. Give Xbox.com about an hour or so to get updated to show that you are now Gold.
5. Go to Xbox.com>My Account>TURN OFF RENEWAL
6. Repeat when that Xbox Live Gold month ends
