OK hello, this TuT is to explain how to switch from one software to another.


Don't want to lose your members and files, but you want to switch software's?


Well today i will show you how. It is very easy and n00b proof.

First thing you want to do is go to your forum software's site. In this TuT it will be smf (simple machine forums)

As you can see from the screen shot most forum software sites have there own converter. This changes the software, and keeps every (members,post, etc..)

How to upload and use Converter.

*Now this is the tricky part. You must pay close detail to my screen shots and typed part.*

You will want to download the type of conversion you need. (There will be different ones to download. Pick the one that fits the old description of you software.)





After this just go to your site and the new software should be up and everything should be there.
