How to create a basic avatar:
1) Open PhotoShop
2) Create a new document 200x200 with a resolution of 72
3) Fill the document with a color by selecting the paint bucket tool, going down to the color, and selecting ok
4) Now create a new layer
5) Create a rectangle and make it right in the middle. Make it so you can place text in their
6) Click the color, and select a color a little darker than your background. Or a lighter color.
It depends what you want.
7) Fill the rectangle with that color
8) Select the text tool and click the pic
9) Delete that layer. You just deselected the rectangle
10) Right click the rectangle layer and click blending options
11) Tick Drop Shadow, Inner Shadow, Gradient Overlay, and Stroke
12) Click the drop shadow tab
13) Make the size from 5 to 0
14) Do the same with the inner shadow
15) Click the gradient overlay tab
16) Click the gradients, and select the neutral color
17) Click the stroke tab
18) Make the size 1
19) Now click ok
20) Put text inside the rectangle, Cinema 4D or Photoshop Text
21) Your done
