How to hotswap without opening your xbox

Originally you could only hotswap by opening your console and stopping it spinning. Now there is a way to trick the xbox and install a modded iso disc.

You will need:
- The original game
- Modded iso of the game

1. Go into the system settings and disable auto play
2. Insert the original game into the drive and let it read
3. Now that it has loaded, you need to hit the eject buton on the console and y at the same time
4. If its worked you will be left with an image of the game on the screen
5. Now insert your modded iso into the drive
6. The xbox will move on as if nothing happened
7. You can now install to HDD
8. The game can be ran with original disk but will still have mods activated

EVaCxL3GiiT I have tried this so many times. It does not work for me. If you have the Xbox 360 Slim, don't open it up! It is really hard to do and there is a high chance that you will break something. I did it to my Slim and it was really hard. I opened my brother's Arcade and hot swapped, but that was really easy.


Are You Joking Me the Slim Is The Easiest Of them All to Hotswap

Just to minimize the confusion. I believe that this will only work if you have a certain drive. I believe that the benz-q or something around that area is the one needed for this. This was posted a while ago so it may have been the newest one out but just for future reference you should check what drive you have.

I tryed this 5 times and none of those trys worked!! I just hotswapped my xbox.. Hotswaping is extremlly easy. :)
