fbBuild 0.1 Rebooter JTAG - Quick And Easy Tutorial

Step 1) First open up fbBuild_0.1.zip
Step 2) Create a folder called fbBuild on your desktop and extract the contents inside.
Step 3) Within that folder open up the DATA folder.
Step 4) Now open 12611.zip and extract contents to that data folder.
Step 5 )Leave that for now, download the latest flash tool and extract and open.
Step 6) Go up top hit settings then keys and enter your CPU key in.
Step 7) Software will reset, click the button on the top left and browse to your original nand image. All your data on the right should now be displayed.
Step 8 ) Now click extract on the bottom and check KEYVAULT and CONFIG
Step 9 )Hit ok and then select to extract this data to a NEW FOLDER on your desktop.
Step 10)Go inside the FreeBOOT folder, than inside the data folder.
--You should have two files
----kv.bin, smc_config.bin

Step 11) You will need to copy those 2 files to the MYDATA folder within fbBuild
Step 12) Once you have them copied there open up the CPUKEY.txt and input your CPUKEY on the first line, overwriting the dummy one in the file and save it.
Step 13) Now open up SMC PACK and extract the smc.bin for your motherboard type to MYDATA folder.
---NOTE: IF YOUR CONSOLE IS USING AUD_CLAMP WIRING USE THE aud-SMC.bin
THIS IS NOT REVERSIBLE, IF YOU USE THE WRONG ONE YOU CONSOLE WILL NOT EVEN BOOT TO XELLOUS

Step 14**RENAME FILE TO SMC.BIN
--You should now have SMC.bin, SMC_CONFIG.bin, and KV.bin in the my data folder.
----You should also have the CPUKEY changed.

Step 15) Now go to the main directory of fbBuild and open up 1BL.txt and change the dummy line to

You now are ready to build your image


Step 1) Go to your desktop, HOLD SHIFT and RIGHT CLICK You should have an option with "Open Command Prompt Here"
---THIS WORKS WITH WINDOWS 7 IDK about XP
------IF YOU HAVE XP go to run and type CMD and then type cd FULL FOLDER DIRECTORY HERE
-------ie. cd C:\Documents and Settings\User\Desktop\fbBuild
----------then you need to run this command :fbBuild -c (motherboard) -d mydata updflash.bin
-------------ie
---------------fbBuild -c xenon -d mydata updflash.bin
----------------this will create your updflash.bin in the root directory of fbBuild
Step 2) It will prompt you that is complete
Step 3) Take that updflash.bin and put it on the root of a usb stick formatted to fat32 and boot to Xellous using the eject button and let it flash your update. I will continue updating this as need fit.
