Alright so im pretty sure you guys have seen Lost's superspace patch or GodlyM0dz v3 patch where it has text on the Mw2 Multiplayer menu...

Looks like this:

Well... Today I am going to teach you how to do this to your own patch...

Things you need
- [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] (or HxD, I prefer Sublime Text)
- Patch to edit
- FF Viewer

Tutorial
Ok, First thing we are going to do is take a patch and open it up in FF Viewer like so...

Now, we are going to take the new file that just popped up patch_mp-extract.dat
and put that in our Sublime Text Editor, Like so...

Now, in Sublime Text, click Ctrl+F

There should now be a search bar at the bottom of the program...


We are now going to search this menu_button_selection_bar and it should automaticly highlight it like so...

Now, right next to that it will say @PATCH_DOWNLOAD_CONTENT_CAPS

You can change that to whatever you want[MUST BE SAME NUMBER OF CHARACTERS AS ORIGINAL TEXT], but you must leave the @ symbol there. I will show you an example...

When you have finished adding your desired text go to File>>Save and exit out of Sublime Text ALMOST DONE!!!


Last, Go to FF Viewer and save your patch using the ADV External file save feature...
