As I do not have a recording software for the Xbox 360 I can only provide a text tutorial however I will link a video at the end of the tutorial.

Step 1: Make a Pickaxe if you do not already have one.

Step 2: Using a crafting table use either 9 Iron Ingots, 9 Gold Ingots or 9 Diamonds to make a block of that ore.

Step 3: Place it on the ground somewhere, preferably in a corner.

Step 4: Break the block and attempt to place it right before it enters into your inventory/hand. IMPORTANT: You must NOT double tap the left trigger or else the glitch will not work.

Step 5: Once you see one of the blocks in your inventory/hands as well as on the ground, hit the X button to open the crafting menu and go to where you can create Iron/Gold Ingots and Diamonds out of a block of the Ingots or Diamonds.

Step 6: Craft it and repeat as many times as desired.
