Step 1.Find the video that you want to download on YouTube. (Other sites like Dailymotion and Vimeo also work.)

Step 2.Copy the URL of the video watch page. To do this, you click and drag your cursor over the entire URL, then right click and press copy.

Step 3.Open a new tab. Go to [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] . You should see a box, with a 'download' button to the right. Paste the URL into the box by right clicking and pressing paste.

Step 4.Once the URL is pasted, click download. You should be brought to a page with multiple quality and file type options. I suggest downloading the highest quality you can. After clicking the option, it should begin downloading.
