okay here is how you take a Xbox slim apart for you who do not understand i will put a text tutorial
step 1 get three tools Philips flat head,tork 10 screwdriver,regular screwdriver
step 2 use the flat head stick it in the vent slot then pull to the left to get the black vents off
step 3 inside the Xbox sides there will be 3 to 4 small rectangles stick the flat head in them and pull forward and up then take the piece off
step 4 there will be 4 or more clips in the sides pull them forward and up then take the piece off
step 5 there are 3 clips at the back of your Xbox do the same as step 4 but for the back
step 5 pull the Xbox shell apart do not pull to hard though
step 6 there will be 5 black screws remove them also there will be one under the sticker use the tork 10
step 7 now flip the Xbox over then pull the face plate off gentally there will be a blue cord pull it out do not break it though
step 8 remove the top piece of the shell now
step 9 there will be two cord in the back of your disk drive disconnect them from your disk drive
step 10 now use your screwdriver and remove the four screw in the disk drive then flip it over and take the top half off use the regular screwdriver
step 11 under the top part of your disk drive you will see a circle sticker remove it then take the metal circle out
step 12 after removing the metal circle you will see the magnet do not lose this piece
step 13 plug your disk drive back up with the top off put the magnet on then you are ready to hot swap
