This is for Silent Hill 2.

To unlock the Dog ending you must of beaten the game once, Upon finishing start a new game and progress normally until you have just left the apartments and met up with Maria.

As you then leave Rosewater Park, head directly opposite over the road and you will see a little dog house. Inside will be the dog key.

Just for picking it up you will earn 40 gamerscore.

Now progress normally again until nearer the end of the game when you are in the hotel. 3rd floor specificity and you will see next to room 312 where you have to enter and it will be entitled the Observation Room.

The key is useless until you have played the tape in room 312 and entered back out. The place has transformed into nightmare mode. You can now use the dog key to open the observation room and experience a very funny bizarre ending to a game. After the whole thing, Achievement Unlocked.
