Tutorial on how to mod test drive unlimited 2
Getting your profile off the xbox.
1. Go to system settings
2. Then go to memory
3. Then select your HDD
4. Go to games
5. Then TDU2
6. Select your gamesave then move
7. Choose your usb
Extracting the save from usb
1. Open up USB xplorer
2. Click on open device
3. There should be alot of folders
4. If you only have one thing on it then just keep opening folders untill you get a few to a files
5. Then click the file and then extract the PLAYERSAVE
6. Select desktop.
Note: if you have alot of folders then you should be an experienced modder because you would of modded before this tut therefore you would already know this step.
Modding the file
1. Download the mod tool from Test Drive Unlimited 2 Editor V1.0.0.5.zip
2. Now open horizon and drag your playersave into it
3. Go to content left click on the DATA file and extract it to your desktop
4. Now open the mod tool
5. go to File on the mod tool then open and open the DATA file
6. Mod the things to what you want. ( money, casino chips ect. ).
7. Save the file
8. Open back up horizon and replace the old DATA save with your new Modded one
9. Rehash and Resighn the playersave
10. Press the rehash and resighn a few times just to be certain
Putting the file back on your usb
1. Open back up usb xplorer
2. Open up all the folders untill you get files like you did last time
3. Now delete your original playersave and inject your modded one
4. Close usb xplorer
Extra notes and warnings
Note: When you play the game on your xbox you have to do one race etc. for the mod to show up.
