Does it freeze at the loading windows logo where the bar is and normally boots up?
If so, you will need to use factory repair disc and boot from cd or repair by using win7 install disc(or w/e you're using) and repair using that or simply restore and save all your old files which you can access on the new install. ;)

Sometimes if you don't have the updated chipset drives, your PC will BSOD.
This morning I was using my PC problem free. Then, all my programs starting running slow and crashing. I tried to use the Task Manager to close the programs, with no luck. So I turned it off with the main power button. Then, I go to reboot, and it goes into system repair. I leave it there for a while with no luck. Then, I use F8 to System Restore, with no luck. Then, I reboot again, and I can't access the F8 menu. Any ideas on how to fix this?
Seems like a dying HDD. Is there any way you can boot your PC into safe mode? You could run tests like Memtest/HDD life.

Yeah, that is definitely a virus. I would take it to a local best buy or geek squad.
They could most likely fix it for you.
