Very good point, but i celebrate it because i like the family time and food, and gifts and stuff. The pilgrims are basically dead, but we read about them in books, just like god or jesus, yet we still celebrate thanksgiving and Christmas. Does that mean that people who havent seen a pilgrim walking down their street shouldn't celebrate thanks giving?

Well i celebrate Christmas and i don't exactly have a religion cause i could care less about believing in something that will never happen( Am i technically Athiest?) but OT: Christmas is just a cultural Holiday I celebrate because i accept the Gifts of many and Give Gifts to many its not just about Religion its about Traditions within a family/friends.

caring less about something is not being atheist. People are still christian but never go to church or pray. If you don't believe in religiousness all together, that's atheism.

well i celebrate christmas but i just can't believe in god in some ways i am my own religion

Now see you just gave me a Double Negative as i said i could care less about religion, but i also can't believe in something that can't be proven which would Atheism, now what you said is that im not an Atheist but i actually am... how does that work?

The reason we celebrate Christmas is because everyone else we know celebrates it. And yes, we are only celebrating it for presents , big deal.
