Alright, I got back early. Sorry for the delay.

The V-Moda LP2 sounds like it's perfect for you. They're extremely bassy, indestructible, awesome-looking, extremely bassy, and comfortable. They're a new headphone, so you might have to wait a bit to get your hands on a pair. They should retail at $200, and it's possible you will be able to customize them like the original LPs. The LP2 is a far better headphone than the LP, but the LP is not a bad headphone. Both just exude quality.

There's also the Audio Technica Pro 700 MkII, which is a serious bass cannon if you want to spend less. They're around $170. You can also get them with gold accents and other flashiness with the 50th Anniversary Edition, but it's a lot more expensive. Still a pretty good buy, though, and if you have the money and like the style, go for it. The Pro 700 is also a tank, very portable, very bassy, and pretty comfortable in my experience.

You could also get some on-ear headphones. I'd recommend the Aiaiai TMA-1 if you want a pair of these. Definitely some of the most beautiful headphones I've ever seen.

The Vsonic GR06 is worth the premium in this case. It's 13 bucks more, but worth every penny. They should do very well with your music. They have bass, but it's not accentuated and the overall sound signature is neutral. They're closed, but IEMs tend to be unless you want an earbud, like the Yuin PK3. They're available on Ebay right now.

Kind of a vouch here. I was told to get the Beyerdynamic dt 990 pro's. I do not regret a single thing about them. I am now using them to produce music and I love them. Thank you!

Awesome. Will definitely look into it. To be honest, budget wasn't really an issue, but I feel like it's ridiculous to spend 150+$ on a pair of headphones.

Thanks for your help

There's a lot of truth to that. Beyond $150 or $200, you're paying more for less and less. It's called diminishing returns. If you're interested, the Vsonic GR07 can be had for $150, and it's pretty much just the big brother to the GR06. It's everything the GR06 is, but much better and one of the best IEMs you can buy for that price point. You'll love either, though, and you're welcome!

Oh and I saw you hating on the Beats headset series, and I have got to say that I couldn't agree more.

I actually won a pair of Beats Solo's in a contest, and in a week I stopped using them and started using my 20$ ear buds in place. I can't help but laugh, that I was soo hyped up to have gotten them, and just be disappointed in the end. But I've gotta say, I'd rather it work out like that, then to spend that much and be disappointed lol.

The Ultrasone HFI-580 and V-Moda LP2 are some good over-ear bassy cans in your price range.
