Your thread is filled with bias people.

Biased against what exactly? It's not that we're poor people that can't afford Beats (jealousy), as the people that contribute to the thread (r00t_b33r, Parallel, and me) all have headphone collections worth at least three times as much as the Studios; and it's not an irrational hate against Monster--they're effectively helping to screw up the headphone industry by basically forcing the manufacturers we like to focus on bassy headphone to turn a profit.

Hah... Hahaha... Headphone collections? Over $300? About that...

Not until I get my paycheck next week!

In the opening of the thread you are hostile towards Beats. People who actually like them will then disregard the thread because your opinions differ. Get the concept yet?

Finally back from being gone all day, sorry for the late response.

In my thread I tell people not to talk about Beats and the like because that's not what the thread is for. It's for people requesting headphone advice, not sharing their opinions on headphones that are completely ridiculous and quite frankly a waste of time. I wish I could spend more time discussing good headphones than getting so hung up on awful ones. If they're so closed minded they can't handle being wrong or acknowledging that they bought the wrong headphones, then it's their loss.
You are hostile towards Beats. Do you understand that, that keeps people who are looking into Beats away.

Not really. I explain why Beats are bad and offer better alternatives.

Don't get me wrong, I hate Beats but in your thread your hostile towards Beats and it only attracts other people who are hostile towards them.

That's not bias; that's sense.

And we're not hostile; we overemphasize points because that's what gets attention. Basically anti-advertising.
You don't catch on to quick do you? The thread is hostile towards Beats. You don't point out good qualities.

Then let's be more open-minded and talk about the Beats themselves - not the branding and the hear-say. What do you like about them, and please be descriptive. As one who's listened to the Solos and Pros, I'm curious.

r00t_b33r is probably the most knowledgeable person on this site when it comes to headphones.
Don't get beats. Listen to r00t_b33r he knows what he's talking about.

Ishcabible, Ioserga, and Parall3l know a lot more than I do about headphones! So happy to have them on this site.

The only credit I can really give Beats is that they made the headphone scene more popular, at the cost of some manufacturers "selling out," like AKG with their sub-par portable line (not the K81: the Q460 and other Quincy Jones headphones that aren't an actual improvement, just essentially using money they can use on R&D on a sponsorship). They've been really good at marketing by basically alienating a sect of users that don't have Beats, feeding on the lack of self-worth of many teenagers that feel the need to belong with a group.

Eh, I don't know all that much, especially compared to a lot of the people I talk to that have helped shape the modding community and have taught me about acoustics and stuff like that. I mean I know way more than I should know, but there's so much to learn about audio that it's insane.

I wish I'd taken more physics in high school, as it'd certainly help me better understand acoustics.

I just finished junior year and I wish I could fit more classes in, specifically another physics. Unfortunately I had to trim some fat to fit in Computer Science AB and two semester programming courses. Instead I'm stuck in a few useless classes like English that are required but do not teach me anything at all. Maybe it's different at other schools, but my English classes have been worthless. Very frustrating, and I know I'll end up regretting it like you.
