~Specs
Power supply: 550W XFX 80+ Bronze PSU:
1TB Seagate HDD:
Samsung Optical Drive:
Processor(CPU): Intel i5 3570k:
Ram: 8GB Corsair Vengeance LP ram:
Motherboard: MSI Z77 GD-43:
CPU Cooler: CM Hyper 212 EVO:
Graphics Card(GPU): 3GB XFX 7950
SSD: 120GB Corsair Force 3 SSD
Case: NZXT Phantom 410
Put all the specs incase they made a difference.
You're not going to be running any games on two monitors because of a huge bezel down the middle of your field of view, but for everything else you can just connect any compatible monitor and use it for more desktop space. It always looks much better when identical monitors are used.
-Deep- wrote Hi.
i currently have a AMD FX-6100 and was hoping to upgrade to the 8 core 8150 and I have a few questions.
Will I get better FPS?
Will it be much of a power difference?
Do I just remove current CPU and put that one in?
Anything special I have to do?

First off, if you do decide to upgrade the CPU, you should go for one of the newer-generation AMD Piledriver CPUs. The [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] is even cheaper than the 8150 and it's a fantastic CPU. If you want better performance in games, though, the CPU is not what you should be looking at upgrading. That's the graphics card.
I have the Radeon 7770 but all I am getting is decent fps. Not the best so people are saying it is the cpu

How much are you looking to spend (and in what currency) and what monitor do you already have? And I'm not going to recommend you use monitor speakers; I wouldn't wish that on anyone. Pick up some budget speakers (I recommend the Creative T3130).

Are you using any mods that make the game more demanding? Do you have the latest drivers installed? Have you tried re-installing the drivers? Did you have another carcd previously installed?

You can get the latest AMD drivers here: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
And you need to make sure you have all the drivers from your previous card uninstalled.
