Do you just realize what you just said? Guns amount to 40 PERCENT of ALL HOMICIDES in the US. 40 percent is basically half of all homicides. By introducing more gun control, you cut down on the 40% of homicides in the US, by a huge amount. If I told you that half the people that die from homicides each year can be saved by introducing gun control, why not do it?

Americans would go crazy and go out and buy every gun known to man before the law would even come into place. Some people that I know are already getting ready for that. It isn't a smart idea to ban guns. It's the schools that need to fix their security. I don't doubt that there are kids in that school that are in gangs, so this could've been gang related (I live in Georgia and the Atlanta area is pretty rough.) The kid could've easily hurt the other kid with something like a knife, so should we ban knives too because they have a possibility to be used as a weapon? Are they too dangerous for America too? The point is, people use guns for many good things, then there are people like this that use them for bad. Guns don't kill people, people kill people.

Once again, I'll refer you back to my previous post. In Britain, the last mass shooting at a school was 40 years ago. We haven't had one since we put a ban in place afterwards. Yes, there's always going to be psychotic murderers out there, but, I'd feel much safer if I knew those phycho's didn't have a gun in their hand (which I do feel safe because I know they can't go to the nearest store and pick up an assault rifle).

Point is, you Americans can sit back and just watch these mass shootings of innocent kids go on and at the end of the day, all you care about are your guns. I mean, how many more shootings of presidents or innocent people will it take before you ban them?
