Who's wish is it to become immortal. I for one would want to peacefully die when Im around 85 for who wants to suffer the curse to never die.

YES!! 1 day but what if that keeps progressing to a stage where we can live up 2...

1,000 years of age this will probs take a few million years to get to this stage!!

It was really hard to interpret this theory considering the grammar is far from perfect... With that being said, no. I do not think we will ever become "immortal". Especially not in a few hundred years, it takes millions of years for organisms to change in the slightest. In no time soon do I think we will evolve.

And I don't know where you are getting your information from. I don't think in the future humans will have no necks or arms, just ankles, and gigantic heads. And if that were to happen, then yes it is "already happening". But, I think you have a faulty source, so no.

And then I honestly had no idea what else you were trying to say at the end w/ freezing + body development, but my opinion on the topic is no it's not possible.

Evolution will never stop, But it takes 1000's of years to show improvements. It's unlikely that humans will ever be able to live immortal lives, And the longer we stay here, The shorter we have to survive.

If i could i would NOT like to be immortal seeing al my family and friends and children and there kids and so on and so on...

would not like to live that experience....

I don't think immortality is possible simply because everything will eventually become so spread out there will be lightyears between particles ;)

But, as for short term life preservation, it would take a miracle of biology to find a way to stop the aging process, which I don't think will be possible in the next thousand years, never mind the next few hundred.

I briefly talked about this is a post a while back so I'm just going to quote that...

This suggests to me that it is not at all inevitable and that it is only a matter of time before biologists discover what it is that is causing us the trouble and that this terrible universal disease or temporariness of the humans body will be cured."

While I do believe it is possible to live forever it will not be possible for a long time. In the book I'm reading, "Physics of the Future" it should be possible by the turn of the century. (2100)

Which is kind of sad because if you think about it, we might be some of the last people on Earth to die of old age.
