Not always the case. Here's a possibility, Robber shoots a few people, someone shoots Robber, other robber shoots back.

So it can end up being a massacre because of guns being easily accessed. I know people who have drug charges and gun possession charges, and bought hand guns legally. I had one of them pointed at me.

To put it simply:

-Make sure the person is sound enough to own a weapon
-Require a license on you at all times while having a weapon, therefore you can be arrested and/or the weapon confiscated for carrying one with a license.
-Require powerful weapons (AR's, automatics, etc.) to have a certain amount of modifications done or another way to limit usage off of certain areas.

This is exactly why people need to be informed. A so called "Assault weapon" (which is actually just a sporting rifle" shoots SEMI-AUTOMATIC. Diane Fienstein herself probably doesn't even know that.
ALSO, automatic firearms are ILLEGAL in the hands of civilians. Only law enforcement and other military-type personal can own one.

Either way, semi automatic weapons aren't necessary. I could care less about whether it shoots automatic or if it shoots a few bullets with one pull of the trigger.

My point is that they should check into the people more. I don't think it's a big deal, I don't see what's bad about it. You get your license and weapons a week later. Oh god! End of the world!

I would rather have a sane person owning a weapon then someone who is prone to kill someone.

I just did a paper on Gun Laws and don't agree with them. I mean limited gun access would only make it easier for criminals to create crimes. Regardless, people who want a weapon to commit some sort of violence will get there hands on one. And since you can't have police on EVERY single street, the people need to be able to defend.

Most people uses the "shooting" for defense. "Oh if assault guns were ban then the Newtown shooting wouldn't have happened" Blah Blah Blah. Last time i check, shootings at school never happens. Shooting in movies.. never happens. Also, the percentage of crime done with assault guns are always gang related.

Lastly, some places Like Chicago have strict guns laws because of the gang related crimes. Majority of violence are down due to gangs. SO if you allows purchase of guns in those types of cities, then more people in gangs will get their hands on them.

What am i saying? Guns laws shouldn't change. Crimes will always happen (Unless we go under a dictatorship).

People are also forgetting about if something happens like another country invading the U.S. People don't think it could happen because it's the 21st century but, it could possibly happen. Especially if other countries hear that we're getting all of our guns taken away. But if they know that it's legal for people to have assault weapons it would be a big deterrent for them because they know basically everyone civilian owns a gun.

Just saying, this has happened many times throughout history, it could happen again.

Oh and one other thing, what happened to the right to bear arms in the constitution?
