No way am I paying that, I was looking forward to this game too. But that's extortionate.

No, they have to have funds to bring in more content for the game, and since they are planning to add new content every 4-6 weeks they need a lot of income for it or their customers would miss out on a lot of stuff like the dark brotherhood, thieves guild etc which are not added in the base game. Putting a subscription fee allows them to have the needed funding to provide their loyal customers with top notch content in the game, otherwise they'd just have a really basic crap game that would be no fun.

Instead of adding content every 4-6 weeks, why didn't they just release a finished game with the Dark Brotherhood and Thieves Guild with extra stuff 4-6 weeks but nothing major, to me it looks like an unfinished game with out the DB and Thieves.

They will more than likely lower the price of the game over time. Plus they give discounts for buying years and 3 months. Also take into consideration that this game actually did have a huge budget and a lot of work was put into it.

Ah yes, hows about they create WoW in a fully complete game, no expansions or anything just give players what it is and call it quits? The reason for the new content every 4-6 weeks is to keep the game going, make it endless like most MMO's available. The current model of the base game, without the DB and TG and such is set at over 180 hours of gameplay, the addition of the extras will increase that more and more.

Tell me, when a normal non-MMO game comes out, do you expect DLC? Or if DLC comes out, do you complain that the game wasn't finished? Who says that the lack of DB and TG in the game makes it unfinished? Those are merely side quests, not main storyline.

I don't think they'll make the console community pay that much or at all to play this game. If they do no one will buy that bloody thing. Charging 3 times the amount of xbox live/PSN+ a month is just stupid and is one way to kill a game on console.

Xbox Live only costs $10.95 a month, not $5.

ok but it still doesn't change the fact that they are planning to charge then the service itself.

Well okay, how about they don't charge and then they never bring out new content for the game? Will that make you happy? Not paying but not getting new content? Cause that is what would happen. The fee goes into the funding to bring out new content every 4-6 weeks, such as new quests, new dungeons, new locations, new weapons, new armor, new spells, new in-game guilds, bug fixes etc.
