RickGrimes wrote They cant do that! In my school they let us use our phones out side like at break and lunch and after school, even if we're not outside the school gate. So I don't know what's their problem. That's the same with my school.

So I know that if I use my phone in school it can get confiscated but can my school do this?
Heres the pic of my school. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Now after school when I leave the school the teachers at my school still ask me to put away my phone or they will confiscate it. Can they do that? I'm literally out of the school gate. It not like they own the whole road.
Once when I was outside of the school. The school day was over and someone in my year was wearing a snapback and the teacher confiscated it even though the pupil was outside of the school and was going home.
Nahhh. That'd make me mad next time they try that yell RAPE!

Now that I'm in year 10 they're much more lenient but there is still a 70% chance of getting confiscated, I mean in years 7,8,9 the teachers where always confiscating phones and the parents had to come in (I had mine took off me 2-3 times) but oh well haha

Sounds like the some members of the administration at your school were bullied in school.
Those rules sound 100% ridiculous.

I don't want to sound too rebellious here, but even if you are inside the school property, don't hand you're phone in to them, it's not as if they can physically wrestle it from you is it?;)

Possess wroteDeveloping wrotePossess wrote No. I was that kid in school that teachers would leave alone. They tried confiscating my drink that I brought in after a doctors appointment, I told them to give me the 5$ back then.
They legally can't do anything outside of school, just refuse unless you are on school grounds.
Wow! How do you even cope with this? Have you reported this? Try to get a group of you to complain? Grow a group?
I'm not sure if you attempted to be sarcastic and failed, or I completely missed your point because there wasn't one.
That was a small example, I'm not obligated to write down all of my experiences throughout 12 years of school to make you feel like I actually was doing what was called for. I was a bad kid, I got suspended enough to miss 70+ days of school, I wouldn't recommend anyone behaving like I did in high school, it messed up my life.
Simply put, the district I went to school is a suburb outside of a large city. They cracked down on EVERYTHING because they tried sorting out any potential problems.
Ex:
Suspensions for a hood on in the winter
Phones confiscated for weeks
Hats taken for the whole year
Getting involved in matters that happened at students houses
Certain colors banned (Red, Blue, etc.) in excessive appearance. You would get in trouble for it.
that right there is **** bullshit just saying
