If they can up the minimum wage without messing with the cost of everything else, then I would hope they can get it. The problem that I see would be the increase of average wages along with the minimum wage. That could see the increase in the cost of living, which would be right back to square one. I would think it would create more inflation, but I guess I could be wrong.

Ha ha, my half-sister went to college to become a dental hygienist. It took her two years to go to community college and two years to get her associates. Where do you specifically work as a career?

I'm not surprised, they're great fields to work in.

OP is 150% correct. You want more money, you earn it. I dont care if you cant afford it, you find a way. Complaining about not making enough money and not doing anything about it is basically quitting. And quitters dont succeed. End of story. Hes also right about the value of the dollar. Minimum wage goes up, value of the dollar goes down. It takes lets effort and time to earn that one dollar. So businesses raise rates because that one dollar doesnt take as much time to earn. Meaning people will have more dollars than they did in the past. You have to think logically here. Just because "they cant afford college" or other BS like that, doesnt mean they need more money. Earn it. Welcome to the real world.
