My friend had the same problem. try using xport 360. he was using explorer and it wouldnt show anything on his hdd

ok i set it up using modio and xplorer360 and everything was fine i could access the HDD and take data from it
now all of a sudden its stopped working as in nothing at all when i plug it in or out the pc doesnt even make the new device sound
any ideas anyone the person who helps me fix it get all my rep points-i am on windows xp
plug the transfer cable to the computer before turning it on
